Regardless of who or what you are, whether you are an individual or an employer, employed or not employed, from a small company or a big organisation, age 17 or 70, there is a very good chance that we can help you with costs of your training.

The help available can range from small contributions up to the total cost of the programme.

In particular, Skills Development Scotland supports training programmes for over 50,000 people every year and throughout this section of the site you may see references to various routes to learning which are supported by them.

It can be difficult and sometimes confusing – for employers and individuals – to find out what’s available.  We try to keep this section up to date, but please bear in mind that funding support DOES vary depending on your circumstances and what is available.  Even once you understand what’s available right now, please remember that what’s available does change from time to time due to reasons such as government priorities, local circumstances, availability of budgets etc.
